Principal of Shenandoah Northern Company, a corporate
financial advisory practice specializing in the railroad
industry, since 2001. Former Senior Vice President and
Senior Banking Executive for Bank of America's Knoxville
market area. Appointed to the PBA Board of Directors
in October 2000 and elected to the Executive Committee in
August 2002. Current professional affiliations include
service as a Vice-Chair of the United Way of Greater
Knoxville's 2004/2005 Campaign, directorships of the
Knoxville Symphony Orchestra and the University of Tennessee
Friends of the Library Executive Committee, Chairman of the
Board of the National Transportation Research Center, Inc.,
a Trustee of Westminster School, Simsbury, Connecticut, and
membership in the Transportation Research Board. He is
also a Director of the Pittsburg & West Virginia Railroad ("PW"
on the ASE). Capito is currently Chairman of the
Washington and Lee University Alumni Admissions Committee
for the Knoxville area. Past affiliations include
service to Washington and Lee University, Lexington,
Virginia as Director of the University's Alumni Board of
Directors and President and Director of the Washington
Society and as a Trustee of Tusculum College in Greenville,
Tennessee, and two terms as an At-Large Member of the
Allocations Committee of the United Way of Greater
Knoxville.
