Alex FusarO, COO

Alex brings over 25 years of leadership experience and has been with the PBA since May 2021. He previously served as Director of Security and Life Safety before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to relocating to East Tennessee, Alex retired from the New York City Police Department as a Lieutenant, where he played a role in the response and recovery efforts following the events of 9/11 and Superstorm Sandy. He concluded his NYPD career as Operations Coordinator for the Fleet Services Division, overseeing 14 repair facilities and a fleet of nearly 10,000 vehicles. He also briefly served as the interim Fire and Life Safety Program Leader for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Alex is passionate about cultivating a strong team culture and fostering morale across the organization.
