Jayne Burritt, CFM

Administrator/CEO
Jayne has more than 40 years of leadership experience in property management, real estate, and leasing services. She joined the Public Building Authority in 2008 as Director of Property Management and was appointed Chief Executive Officer/Administrator in December 2016.

Prior to joining the PBA, Jayne held corporate real estate and facility management leadership positions with First Tennessee Bank, CBRE and Ryan Construction (Midwest Division).

Since assuming the role of CEO, Jayne has worked alongside the PBA's dedicated employees, leadership team, and community partners to support the organization's continued growth and success. Today, the PBA oversees more than 3.2 million square feet of property, World's Fair Park, Volunteer Landing, security services for more than 40 city parks, public parking garages and lots, and on-street parking enforcement operations. When fully staffed, the organization employs nearly 280 employees.

Throughout her tenure, Jayne has helped guide the growth and development of Property Management, Security & Life Safety, IT/Telecommunications, Property Development, Finance, Parking, and Custodial divisions. Working together, these teams have expanded the PBA's capabilities and services to meet the evolving needs of the City of Knoxville and Knox County. As a result, the PBA's responsibilities and service offerings have continued to grow year after year.

Jayne has been married to Jim for 48 years and they have three children. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, birdwatching, supporting animal rescue efforts, grandkids and taking walks with Remmy (her rescue dog).
