Robyn K. Smith, CPA

Robyn has been a valued member of the Public Building Authority since 1999 and currently serves as Director of Finance. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), she also holds a master’s degree in Organizational Management, bringing extensive financial expertise to the PBA.

Throughout her tenure, Robyn has played an important role in maintaining the PBA’s strong financial stewardship and accountability. Under her leadership, the PBA has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for 22 consecutive years, reflecting her team’s commitment to accuracy, transparency, and responsible management of public resources.

Outside of work, Robyn is a dedicated runner who has competed in the Chicago Marathon and has set her sights on completing the New York City Marathon. She is also the proud mother of two sons studying at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who help ensure that even when she isn’t training for a marathon, she is still kept on the run.
